It was my first time visiting KDVS. I was overwhelmed and amazed at what they have to offer. KDVS has so many records and music. It is ridiculous. I had only about 15mins to do this quick mini session. It was right before my economics midterm. Talk about shooting under pressure.

Hello guys! Here is a new video from another exclusive recording session with AQ and Thaifoon. The song is called “Nho” (Miss You) written by AQ and Thai Foon and produced by First Class International. This was Thai Foon first time rapping in Vietnamese.. The chemistry in the studio was amazing. AQ3 will be an excellent album for the Vietnamese community. I truly believe it will be the turning point in V-Pop.

Every vocalist will tell you that they are nothing without their vocal coach. I really love my coach Dave Stroud, he is the coolest! Even though I am always traveling, Dave & I work together a lot over AIM (yes, AIM!). It is always great when we can work together in person though. Here is a fun video of Dave getting me prepared before I head into the studio to record an acoustic version of “Outta Here”. -Esmée Denters
I miss singing. I don’t sing as much as I used to other than in the studio. Esmée is truly inspiring. Maybe I’ll start singing again. Her “Outta Here” album is also great pop album. This video offers some great behind the scenes footage of music recording and quick vocal insights. I miss choir. I miss doing those warm-ups similar to the ones Esmee did. I remember singing “Mama made me mash my m&m’s” in choir.
I am inspired. I can’t for the full song to drop. I wanna hear Ricky’s verse. I love how Mr. Leslie always performs a solo on every track he produce. The man is a genius.
Kanye West is probably one of the hottest and most influential MC’s and producer in the game right now. From high pitched-up soul vocal samples to a “cinematic” hip-hop sound, to heavy use of synth-based beats and futuristic sound effects. What’s next Mr. West? In this video you can see Kanye and DJ Toomp in the studio working on his song “Good Life” from his Graduation album. “Good Life” won an Grammy award for the Best Rap Song. Did you know that “Good Life” samples keys from Michael Jackson’s “P.Y.T. (Pretty Young Thing)?

Ryan Leslie is probably ranked up there on my list for the hottest producers in R&B and Hip-Hop right now. Leslie has heavily influenced some of my music production. You have to admit, the guy is a genius. Leslie is known for his youtube account and the production of Cassie’s worldwide hit song “Me & You.”
Did you know that Ryan Leslie attended Harvard University?
Keri Hilson is an amazing songwriter. She’s been in the game for almost if not ten years. Keri Hilson has just started her singing career. I would definitely love to collaborate with Leslie and Hilson in the future.
