Rebellion

Project: Rebellion (March 2009- Present) is design to remind the public why athletic sports programs after school are a essential part of high school life. With a struggling economy and rolling budget cuts, athletic sports programs maybe on the list of removal for the future. The San Lorenzo High School tennis team at the beginning of the 2009-2010 school year, was on the list of teams to be considered for elimination. But the San Lorenzo Boy’s Tennis team jumped on the U.S. Tennis Association website and applied for a grant to save the team and the sport they love. The story gained local and national attention (http://abclocal.go.com/kgo/story?section=news/sports&id=6701460). As a student athlete and alumni, I proudly support athletic sports programs and would like to see it continue.
